Norris Lake Houseboat Rentals was founded in the Fall of 2004 when Ryan Taylor and Bryan Courtney started the company with the vision of offering top quality houseboat rentals at below market rates. In the Spring of 2005 they contracted the construction of a 78 foot houseboat specifically equipped to be the most luxurious rental houseboat on the lake. With amenities rarely seen on rental houseboats the inaugural season of Norris Lake Houseboat Rentals was a huge success filled with many happy clients. After the 2005 season Ryan departed NLHR for an incredibly successful career in the financial industry.

Today, with a much larger fleet, Bryan continues to run the business through BRC Holdings LLC. BRC seeks out investment and market opportunities with the sole mission of providing problem free top quality freshwater vacations at family friendly rates.
